Master's Program

The department offers a modern 4 semester Master's program. In addition to the compulsory core subjects, the students are at liberty to opt for soft core papers offered by the department. They also have to opt for a few papers compulsorily offered by other departments on the campus to obtain their degree.

The credits to be obtained from the main department as well as other departments for getting a Master's degree can be seen in official guidelines for the current year at University of Mysore.

Doctoral Program

Candidates who have obtained their Master's program can also enroll for Doctoral program of the University of Mysore. The faculty members are actively engaged in research in various fields. The details of the procedure to enroll can be obtained from the University of Mysore website.
